Tummy Troubles and Relaxing

It’s 11:40 pm on a Saturday night. I finally have some time to myself!
4 1/2 month old Seth was stressed most of the day.  I’m guessing it was the peanut butter and banana sandwich I treated myself too yesterday that’s causing him some tummy troubles.  Seth’s got some food allergies we are still trying to work out, and I believe peanuts are one thing that are still affecting him.  Amazing how that stuff can still affect my milk!
Even still, being with Seth today was so soothing.  I had a realized day of walking around the house with him, soothing and playing with him, showing him his hands, and he even had a fun game of rolling around.  I’d rest his tummy on my chest, let him roll and catch him in the crook of my arm.  He loved it!
I found a great way to keep my sanity while walking too.  I’ve been watching educational ‘top 25’ list videos on youtube.  I don’t know how I got through life without knowing what penology means, or that Japan has invented the urine powered battery.  Yep, I am ahead of them Harvard students already, and didn’t even have to pay tuition.  They so jealous.
When William got home from work at the airport, we bundled Seth up and took him to the mall for his first Christmas shopping trip.  I thought he’d sleep through it considering he didn’t nap much today, but he was quite awake, and actually quite happy through most of our epic adventures across Kmart.  Okay, well, maybe he cried a bit…a lot.  But that’s okay.  Daddy was there to run the isles with him in his stroller. Mum had the harder task of choosing Christmas gifts.  Trust me, William got the better deal.
We did find the cutest rubber ducky bath toys that I’ll post tomorrow.  Seth is loving his baths and learned to splash with his feet, and only just tonight has begun to figure out how to splash with his hands.  Got himself in the face with an epic one, haha.
On a humorous end note, today my sister’s sister in law left me a great message on Facebook.
